Operational DX for a Foundation — Donation Management System (In Development)

■■ Background

A foundation's donation workflow involves many steps — intake, ledger management, receipt issuance, and activity reporting — and tends to become dependent on individuals juggling paper and spreadsheets. Beyond the burden on staff, there was room to improve donor reporting and the transparency of operations.

■■ What we are building

A management system that handles the donation lifecycle end to end, from intake through administration and reporting. We started from reorganizing the business workflow itself, then translated it into a system that fits how the foundation actually operates — Pursuit's standard approach: understand the work, redesign it, implement it.

■■ Status

In development. As an operational backbone for a public-interest organization, we will stay involved through adoption.
